Powered by School Food Professionals (“PFSP”) is committed to protecting your privacy when you visit and use the website for as further outlined in this privacy policy. When you use certain features of PFSP’s website you will be prompted to provide PFSP with certain personal information. This information includes, but is not limited to your full name and email address. If you choose to donate to any PFSP project, you will provide PFSP with certain financial information. Each time you visit the website, or provide us with information, you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy at that time.

Please note that this privacy policy governs only the data practices of PFSP at our websites; we are not responsible for the privacy policies of other sites or companies that may be linked to or otherwise contacted through our websites. Please also note that nowhere on the websites do we knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. We ask that parents help ensure that children do not submit any personal information to us.

Our privacy policy may be revised over time as new features are added to the websites or as we incorporate suggestions from our users. Please review this privacy policy each time you visit. In the event PFSP makes a material change to this privacy policy or changes how PFSP treats your personal information, we will provide you with advance notice, such as by Listing a notice on the home page of our site or sending you an email, and you will be given the opportunity to opt out of such new or different use of your personal information.

How Your Information is Used


When you register with our site we will periodically email you newsletters, press releases or other information about us and our current projects. You can “unsubscribe” at any time by following the instructions at the bottom of each email communication.


Like most websites, PFSP uses small text files called “cookies” to facilitate access to our websites. PFSP may disclose specific contact information when we determine that such disclosure is necessary to comply with law, to cooperate with or seek assistance from law enforcement or to protect the interests or safety of PFSP or other visitors to the site. Also, your contact information may be passed on to a third party in the event of a merger, acquisition, consolidation, or dissolution of PFSP.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information and make commercially reasonable efforts to do so, PFSP cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. However, once we receive your transmission, we make our best reasonable effort to ensure its security on our systems. PFSP does not collect personal information such as credit card data.
